Animated by Stan Quackenbush, Ralph J. Somerville, Ed Love, Marvin Woodward, Al Eugster, Les Clark, [Art] Palmer and Art Babbitt. Music by Ollie Wallace. Can be viewed on the 2001 Walt Disney Treasures DVD - Mickey Mouse in Living Color.

I second that, these are always fascinating!

I've always found it strange that these three guys *directed* the cartoon -- I wonder if someone's made a mistake somewhere down the line and they actually *wrote* it, with the director being Dave Hand or Ben Sharpsteen?

Another thing which surprises me is that Art Babbitt animated the scene of Goofy's machine going wild - I had thought it would be an effects animator, or possibly the guy who animated Pete at the beginning (who, it turns out, is Ed Love, at his most off-model!)

Look at all those Art Babbitt scenes. He must have been working fast.

A great start to your fourth year, Hans. Thanks.

dbaxter91, the main category of my shorts drafts is Mickey Mouse. There are occasional exceptions (Goofy and Wilbur), and many of the Mickey shorts also have Goofy in them, like Boat Builders.
