Prod. 2165 - Mary Poppins (IV)

Animation by Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas.
Voices actors mentioned here: Dal McKennon (penguin) and J. Pat O'Malley (another penguin).
And we are reminded to "check with Joe."

You knew THAT Frank and Ollie did the penguins. Here you can find out HOW they split them between them precisely... (More tomorrow!)

This is truly the highlight of the animated sequences of the film, especially Frank Thomas' dance scene.

IMDB also states that David Tomlin, who played Mr. Banks, did one of the voices of the penguins, but I don't know how reliable the information is..

Hi Steven, I don't remember hearing that David Tomlinson did a penguin voice. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this?

Ooops--how did I let 'Tomlin' slip past! Imdb also states he did one of the jockey voices who lets Mary Poppins through during the horse; I thought it sounded similar to his voice, but I'm not entirely convinced by it. Keith Scott might know..
