Prod. 0136 - The Fox and the Hound (XIII) - Seq. 03.2 Hunter charges over and threatens Widow
Directed by Art Stevens and Rick Rich, assisted by Mark Hester. Layout by Sylvia Roemer and Dan Hansen. This FINAL draft dated 5/4/1981 by secretary Charlene Rogers.
Animation by Chuck Harvey, Ron Clements, Darrell van Citters, Dick Lucas, Dave Suding, Dave Block, John Musker, Dale Oliver, Hendel Butoy and Jerry Rees.
Ron Clements and Hendel Butoy get two large sections of big emotional scenes, of Widow Tweed driving Tod into the woods and leaving him there.
John Musker gets most of Slade and Tweed's argument, as he did in the earlier sequence, with Dale Oliver returning for some of Slade's close-ups.
Chuck Harvey gets his most substantial role in the film so far, some character acting for Copper (with one shot co-animated with Ron Clements) along with a few shots of Slade, Boomer and Dinky.
Darrell Van Citters continues to just get miscellany, in this case a back-view of Amos Slade. Dave Suding and David Block do some miscellaneous scenes of Widow Tweed and Tod, respectively.
