Prod. 2519 - The Rescuers (XIX)  - Seq. 06.1 - Part "D" - Evinrude Rescues Mice in Water

154155
Directed by John Lounsbery and Art Stevens, assistant director Rick Rich, layout by Joe Hale. This FINAL draft of 3/18/77.

Andy Gaskill and Chuck Harvey animate the two mice - the scenes carefully fielded so Evinrude isn't in the frame.

She might have had other problems than just Medusa, in that case.

My posting is erratic: we are in the last month of finishing Denmark's first 3D animated film, our very own "The Olsen Gang Gets Polished," so it's Crunch Time! With a release date of October 14th here in Denmark, we are pulling out all the stops, so I may at times have to skip a day once in a while... Next one up is a classic sequence!

Looks like the crew from A Film are working around the clocks to finish the film just like Walt Disney and his crew were when they were completing Snow White.

Would the film be in a foreign language or English as well?

Eventually, the film will most likely be distributed in other languages. It is based on a VERY Danish (but also very fun) series of live-action films from the late 60s - early 70s, so I have no idea what the international appeal will be. I do know that we are all pretty proud of the film and its finish, especially in relation to its budget. I am, of course, not able to divulge this information - suffice to say that for the budget of Toy Story 3 - or even Despicable Me - we could make MANY films this way...
