A. Film L.A. is the Los Angeles associate of A. Film of Copenhagen, Denmark, Scandinavia's largest and Europe's most ambitious animation studio. Productions include 'Albert,' 'Miffy the Movie,' and 'The Flight Before Christmas,' 'Help! I'm a Fish,' 'Terkel in Trouble!,' 'Asterix and the Vikings,' 'Journey to Saturn,' 'The Little Vampire,' 'The Giant Pear,' 'Up and Away!' and 'Checkered Ninja.'

Interested in animation since 1975, worked in Holland with Danish animator Børge Ring for four years (incl. on the Oscar-winning 'Anna & Bella'), then moved to Denmark in 1984. In SoCal since 2019.

The way "Disney family album" tells it, you'd think Eric Larson animates all the farm animals.
I thought I recognized the squirrel from Sleeping Beauty in there.
The original divide between caricaturists and naturalists (see, Dumbo and Bambi) comes back here, with John Lounsbery and Cliff Nordberg animating the singing farm animals and Eric Larson animating the more realistic (in behaviour, and usually in appearance) woodland animals.
I'm not sure what category the studio put Hal Ambro in. Usually he would be assigned to human characters, especially the realistic ones. But here he animates some non-speaking but still cartoonish turtles. I expect we'll see him again in the fox hunt.
There's a bit of an "all star cast" approach here -- did they really need to put someone of Larson's talents on the long shots of small birds?
Andreas Deja wrote in one post that Lounsbery animated the Farm animals; but it looks like I missed that. Now I see it, Lounsbery's style is there: as its squash and stretch is evident.
Even though Eric's work may not be meatier compared to Lounsbery; he does gorgeous work on the naturalistic animals. Shot 37 is a particular favourite of mine.
My apologies... the turtles are not "non speaking", they get a line at the end of their sequence.
