Prod. 0136 - The Fox and the Hound (VII)   - Seq. 002 Young fox and hound become friends (3/3)

073 074 075 076 077 078
079 080 081 082 083 084
Directed by Art Stevens, assisted by Terry Noss.
Layout by Don Griffith.
This FINAL draft dated 5/4/1981 by secretary Charlene Rogers.

Animation by Andy Gaskill, Heidi Guedel, Dick Lucas (doing what he did on Dalmatians: a car from a model shoot), Andy Gaskill, Ed Gombert, Jerry Rees, Dave Block, John Musker, Darrell van Citters, Randy Cartwright, Jeff Varab, John Pomeroy, Hendel Butoy and Don Bluth.

I have been VERY busy these days, but again, check out John V.'s comments! He especially tries to figure out who worked in which unit, and (as Spock would say,) his reasoning seems sound!

Anonymous John V. (The Spectre) says...

This section mainly belongs to the human characters. This is the first appearance of John Pomeroy's animation, and it looks like he may have been Slade's supervising animator, as he gets most of the "big acting" scenes, although his scenes are slit among a few animators, including Jerry Rees, last seen animating comedy relief birds under Cliff Nordberg. Same goes for John Musker, who animates most of Widow Tweed's scenes here, with one shot by her supervising animator, Don Bluth.

Randy Cartwright animates Chief as usual, while Copper's brief shots are by David Block and Tod's by Hendel Butoy.
