As the sequence carries on, Glen brings on more second stringers to delegate. Phil Young, Mike Cedeno and Chris Buck all do shots of the Bear with Todd, all arguably less important than the shots Glen keeps himself. Always a fun surprise to see how many underlings participated in headlining assignments of famous animators, such is the ultimate intriguing curiosity of drafts!

Seeing how tight and excitingly executed this sequence is makes me that much sadder that Rick Rich’s “Swan Princess” film is so horrible.

Phil Young joins Mike Cedeno and Chris Buck in Glen Keane's posse. He was last seen co-animating a single shot with Randy Cartwright in the hunting trip sequence.

After the fight is over Cartwright takes over as supervising animator, handling mostly Copper but also some Tod. Although he had animated Amos Slade in earlier sequences, here he is handled by John Musker. Chris Buck and Hendel Butoy appear to both animate Tod, but the final seen of Tod and Copper parting ways is credited to both animators so I'm not sure who animated whom.
