Bill Roberts and Al Zinnen! I called this one correctly.
Its very interesting that Bernie Wolf gets a sequence with the clowns in silhouette, and that I used to think an effects artist did this. Maybe Bernie Wolf did the animation but with the faces showing, and then he would have either finished the animation and the drawings would have been painted in silhoutte, OR maybe after drawing the actual clowns, he would've shaded in the drawings!
We continue with Bill Roberts/John Elliotte, with layouts by Al Zinnen, this draft (I think) starts off slow (With continuous Wilfred Jackson and Terrell Stapp sequences), and I think it gets more interesting throughout the draft!
I'm a bit (well, a lot) surprised to see Berny Wolf here. Not one of my guesses at all: I was expecting who had animated wither clowns (Lokey, Simmons, Patterson) or sillhouettes (Kelly) in an earlier sequence. I felt certain he had animated on Timothy. (And, maybe he will later on...)
No drafts today?
No, sorry, Zartok-35 - yesterday I have been at work from 9 am to 2 am - 17 hours - without a break to do a new posting. The following sequences will more than make up for it (I hope) and I will get these up as 'scheduled'...
These drafts are just invaluable. Thank you for posting, Hans. Now that Mark Mayerson is doing a Mosaic, I'm going to bring back a lot of the storyboard and layout stuff I'd posted in the past. Great material for a great film. Thank you.
Thanks for filling me in. I just got a little concerned about you missing your consecutive streak.
You must have something really big in the works!
Thanks, Michael - it will be a pleasure revisiting your great postings!
Zartok-35 - it is the small jobs that keep you busy into the night. Example: the music video I posted this week had me staying at the studio three consecutive days and nights!
Michael: That would be great to see some storyboards/layouts - as great as it was when you posted the storyboards/layouts for Pinocchio, in fact!
