Heidi Guedel/Ballreich (and now Garofalo) tells in her book "Animatrix" about her very first official scenes on a Disney picture, scenes 79.5 and 80, as well as about Ollie Johnston's kindness to her on a picture where the main director (Woolie) was not about to let a woman animate.

At times, I am embarrased to be part of a group - reading Heidi's book I find that some males should have had their heads examined. Of course Woolie grew up in a completely different world, but still. Even now, few women animate (guys seem more needful of concentrating on just one skill at an early age) - but many producers, the ones who really make most of the decisions, are women. Though, in this business, still most often NOT at the very top levels. Heidi luckily encountered others, like Ollie and Art Stevens, who put the quality of the work first...

I love Ollie Johnston's innocent animation on Bianca - so pretty.

Some of the bottle stuff with Bernard stuff with pretty amusing!!
