With Ken Muse on the job, this sequence must clearly date from before the 1941 strike, as Muse left for MGM then and there did the work he is best remembered for, on the Tom and Jerry series...
One of my favorite bits is Goofy with the peas and landing on the jelly - by Sibley. Classic!

Okay, there are some scenes in descriptions between 89.3 to 89.6 that doesn't match up with what I see on the film. When Goofy misses his hat at the top of the wave and dives down after it, the scene goes right to him diving down in the walnut bowl and the walnuts scatter, with no Mickey or Donald on the edge being knocked in.
This is the earliest I've seen Harry Holt animating at Disney.
Not only does the mention of Ken Muse suggest this was animated in '41; but also Charles Nichols; who, by 1946, was directing of course! Even the character design of the dragonflies feels like a throwback.
A nice little highlight for me in this sequence, is the great use of scope and dynamics for the scenes of the gang climbing up the steps - by Towsley.
Kind of surprised to see this is all part of the "Dragonfly" sequence.
Looks like Mickey and Donald were meant to be in that shot but they took them out - maybe the "action read better" if it was just Goofy falling into the walnuts.
I wonder why a 1946 draft would even mention Ken Muse's name, rather than just crediting his scenes to Music Room or something. (compare the removal of Shamus Culhane's name from the "Pinocchio" draft!)
Speaking of Pinocchio, I see once again Charles Nichols was assigned to scenes of characters/creatures (the dragonflies in this case) shoving their faces into the camera with a menacing expression!
As in the previous sequences, the action is divided up into sections, each with one main animator and a few shots by other animators:
Bob Carlson does the first two shots, one of our heroes and one of the dragonflies, carrying on from the end of the previous sequence.
Most of the dragonfly encounter is animated by Charles Nichols, but with a close-up of Mickey by Kenneth Muse, a few close-ups of Donald by Don Towsley and a couple of shots of Goofy by John Sibley (shared with Nichols).
The scenes of the trio climbing the stairs are by Don Towsley, with a couple of brief shots of them slipping under the door by Marvin Woodward.
Harry Holt takes over for the scenes of the trio looking around the castle, and climbing up the table to get at the food, with one close-up of Mickey and Donald and a scene of them eating (with Goofy running through) by Judge Whitaker.
The next several scenes focus on Goofy, and are divided between "Goof men" John Sibley (peas and first part of jello) and Woolie Reitherman (most of the jello section), with Harry Holt taking over for the last couple of shots.
And of course, Jack Campbell animates the harp.
