Les Clark has all the same fellows he did at the opening. I suspect Kinney was an intermediate force between Clark and Babbitt. I feel this particular sequence is an ill suited project for Kinney, who I'd hardly associate with this level of saccharine cuteness. Seeing as Bonnicksen and Goepper are still around for this, I think we can safely say they were active and animated their Happy Valley scenes in the late 1940s. Goepper became Eric Larsons assistant afterwards.
A lot of the supervising animators in "Bongo", so it seems - involves casting by sequence.
Interesting to see Les Clark's solely animated scene, only consists of limited animation - compared to the other scenes he supervises in the rest of this sequence.
Same Les Clark team we saw before, and, curiously, the first two shots with the cupids by Ward Kimball. I wonder why they weren't given to one of the Clark unit as well? (Did Ward design the cupids, and Les Clark and his team were following from his example?)
The final shot by George Goepper is not assigned a supervising animator. Going by the following sequence, we might assume Ward Kimball.
