Anonymous John V. (The Spectre) says...

I was certain Frank and/or Ollie worked on Tod and Copper's reunion. The close-ups of Copper, e.g. scene 77, reminded me of Ollie's animation of Trusty in Lady and the Tramp, and Frank's animation of the younger Copper at the start of sequence 002. But the whole dialogue is Ron Clements.

Unsurprisingly, Randy Cartwright animates the Chief and Copper scenes at the start, with some more Kahl-esque head-swaggles.

There's a clear distinction between "character" and "action" animators, with Ron Husband taking over the animation of Chief and Tod during the chase.

For the few scenes in which the humans appear, Jeff Varab returns to animate Amos Slade, and Don Bluth to animate Widow Tweed.
