This is the first part of the Caterpillar sequence directed by ham Luske. Layout by Charlie Philippi, Thor Putnam and Ken Anderson. This draft of 3/8/51. Looking at this reminds me of how much I prefer the Caterpillar sequence to the Cheshire Cat sequence. Holloway seems to just be reading his lines, whereas Haydn is actually reading them as a cartoon character would. Come to think of it, I've never cared for Holloway's characters.
Ken O'Brien appears to be the first uncredited animator to appear on the draft so far. I wonder why his name's not in the opening credits?
