"Rabbit" doesn't refer to an actual rabbit, but to the Lost Boy in a rabbit skin/costume. :)

After John Lounsbery animated a couple of shots of John and Michael in the previous sequence, it now looks like he supervised the animation of all the characters here. It's quite common to see Hugh Fraser deputising for him.

The way earlier sequences have been cast, you might expect each scene here to be split between a "John and Michael" animator and a "Lost Boys" animator, but we see Hal King (John and Michael) and Marvin Woodward (Lost Boys) animating both groups of characters (sometimes in the same scene, sometimes separately).

Ha! That's what comes from my uploading this without watching the film for reference! Thanks - but expect more of that type of mistakes ;-)

Judge Whitaker helps Lounsbery on shot 26.1, where they 'dig out'.

Hugh Fraser pulls another eye-smear on the bear in shot 68.

Also, Marvin Woodward gets a scene of John and the Lost Boys, not just Michael.

Some of these scenes remind me of "Tiger Trouble"... which also credits Lance Nolley as layout artist, so maybe he had some art direction influence.

Notice the scene numbers, and the amount of scenes removed or re-numbered (here and at the end of the previous sequence). Looks like they re-worked these portions of the film a fair amount, when the groups splits in two (also, as mentioned before, sequence 7.1 comes before 7.0).

Art Stevens recalled in an interviewed animating that scene - and I guess he is the leading animator on that sequence. Hugh Fraser's animation there with the bear is some rather fun stuff as I like how loose and wacky his cartoon was.
