Directed by Norm Ferguson , assistant director Larry Lansburgh, layout Ken O'Connor.
This 2nd draft dated 2/24/41.
We start with Dumbo by John Lounsbery and Timothy by Fred Moore. In the end a few names are missing; one could surmise that these scenes logically would be assigned to Moore and Lounsbery also, but without looking at the scene folders, I dare not state it as a fact. In any case, Harvey Toombs drew both in the last scene, while Howard Swift animated the elephantine bubbles. MR2B is, of course, Music Room 2B, basically the director and the layout man. They could have just written "no animation," so the reason to actively credit the Music Room must have made sense to them, it seems.
Fergy gets to direct a nice acting sequence - quite a nice change from the circus parade (seq. 5) and the pyramid act (seq. 11)!
Hicks Lokey, Howard Swift and John Lounsbery seem to be assigned to Fergy more often than not...

The strange (?) thing is - the "Music Room" scenes aren't "no animation" as they have effects animation.
Also of note, some or all of scenes 19, 20, 21, 21.1 and 22, listed as "out of picture" seem to have been reinstated later - or something else was devised to replace them, as there are some scenes here which don't appear on the draft.
I remember months ago hearing in Bill Peet's interview about Fred Moore doing animation of Timothy getting drunk.
