Directed by Ham Luske, laid out by Ken O'Conner and Thor Putnam. Assistant director Rusty Jones, secretary Ruth Wright.
This Revised Final draft dated 8/28/52.

Animated by Blaine Gibson (Seagulls), Bob Carlson, Eric Cleworth (Hook, Smee, Peter), Ken O'Brien (Peter, Wendy, Tiger Lily), Les Clark (Peter, Wendy), Woolie Reitherman, Jerry Hathcock (Hook, Crocodile), Milt Kahl (Peter), Fred Moore (Smee), Hal Ambro (small Peter, Wendy, Liger Lily).

Very much character casting in this sequence, with the most juicy scenes in the hands of the supervising animators, Milt and Woolie. But the others do a fine job, and this has become probably the most screened sequence of the film - a classic for the Christmas shows.

The numbers between the scenes, I believe to be the numbers of take of the reference live action photostats, but I can be mistaken.

With this big batch I wish all a Happy Thanksgiving!

So, Les Clark animates Wendy, plus Peter when he's with Wendy.

The rest of the time, we have Milt Kahl animating Peter, Woolie Reitherman animating Hook (and the crocodile), Bob Carlson (and in a few shots Fred Moore) animating Smee, and a mix of Bob Carlson, Eric Cleworth and Jerry Hathcock animating long shots and action shots of Peter and Hook (and the crocodile).

Woolie gets a few shots of Peter and Hook duelling, even a couple of close-ups of Peter!

Ken O'Brien animates Tigerlily and a few shots of Peter and Wendy.

A few oddities in the draft - some scenes (73.1, 82) indicate both Hook and Peter are to be on screen, when only one is present. Also Wendy's line in scene 76 should be "How dreadful!", not "How wonderful!" I assume this was the typist's mistake.

So much Bob Carlson animation! Eric Cleworth's assignments feel awfully scattershot compared to everyone else.

I remember reading somewhere that John Lounsbery animated captain hook in this sequence, but its all Woolie, and surprisingly, some Jerry Hathcock.

Mmm - it appears to be that a lot of animators animate almost all the characters particularly Woolie, Carlson and Cleworth.

From what I've gathered - Jerry Hatchcock animates some of the wilder animation of Hook - like the goofy 'takes' of Hook. Great sequence - the crocodile and Hook sequence is always a treat.
